Funeral services for James C. Tolbert, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Tolbert, 87, died Sept. 1, 2010, in Laurel. He was born inOklahoma on July 16, 1923, to James Elmer Tolbert and Nora LavadaFrost.

He was the owner of Tolbert Steamway.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, Jean T.Tolbert.

Survivors are his sons, Jimmy Tolbert, Ronnie Tolbert and MikeTolbert; his daughters, Cindy Lightsey and Billie Smith; hissisters, Marie, Nila Ruth and Naomie; nine grandchildren; and 11great-grandchildren.
