Funeral services for Bertile Smith Ard, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.,were 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Topeka Baptist Church, withburial in Robert’s Memorial Cemetery in Jayess. Wilson Funeral Homein Monticello is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ard, 87, died Sept. 4, 2010, at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola,Fla. She was born in Mississippi on July 15, 1923.
