Funeral services for Thomas G. Beeson, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.on Friday, Sept. 10, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel, with burialin Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. MikeEvans will officiate.

Visitation is Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mr. Beeson, 79, died Sept. 8, 2010, at St. Dominic-Jackson MemorialHospital in Jackson. He was born in Mississippi on Jan. 3, 1931, toDewey Beeson and Ruth Hunt Beeson.

He was retired as an iron worker/welder with River Bend NuclearGenerating Station.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Shannon Beeson;and his brother, Leroy Beeson.

Survivors are his sons, Thomas G. Beeson Jr. and Richard D. “Ricky”Beeson, both of Baton Rouge, La.; his brother, Jessie Beeson, ofWesson; and 11 grandchildren.
