Paul Craft Sr., 71, passed away Sept. 25, 2010, at Hardy WilsonMemorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. Visitation was 5 until 8 p.m.Monday at Strong Hope Baptist Church. Services were 11 a.m. onTuesday at Strong Hope Baptist Church in Wesson with burial inStrong Hope Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services inHazlehurst was handling arrangements.

Mr. Craft was a native of Shaw. He was a member of Strong HopeBaptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He retired after 20years in the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. He thenretired after 17 years as a maintenance supervisor with SignatureWorks in Hazlehurst.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Claude Craft and JamesTravis Craft.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Emmert Craft; his daughters,Linda Gail Craft, of Sumrall, and Peggy Sue Hale, of Wesson; hissons, Paul Craft Jr., of Sontag, and John William Craft, of Wesson;his sisters, Nedia Johnson and Roma Mae Magee, both of Pearl; hisbrother, George Truett Craft, of Utica; 12 grandchildren; and fourgreat-grandchildren.
