Funeral services for Norman Ray “Kenny” Lewis, of Hazlehurst,are 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapelon Natchez Drive, with burial in Hamburg Cemetery in FranklinCounty.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lewis, 88, went home to be with his Lord and his mama andsister on Nov. 3, 2010, at Pinecrest Rest Home in Hazlehurst, wherehe was loved dearly by staffers and doctors. He was born on April6, 1922, in Plaquemine, La., to Hermie Martin Lewis and George W.Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Arthur Lewis;and one sister, Hermie Lewis.

He is survived by two brothers, J.G. Lewis and wife Bobbie, andClaude Lewis, all of Wesson; two sisters, Blanche Smith, of Wesson,and Margie C. Curtis and husband Tapper, of Natchez; 12 nieces andnephews; and a host of grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was disabled, and a member of the Baptist faith. He was aspecial person who won the hearts of all who knew him.
