Bertha Weir Williams, 80, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at King’sDaughters Medical Center in Brookhaven.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at BrookhavenFuneral Home Chapel on Natchez Drive, with burial in RiverwoodMemorial Park.

Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mrs. Williams was born June 28, 1930, in Mark Tree, Ark., to JeromeWeir and Dorothy McCory Weir. She was a homemaker and had worked atStahl-Urban Manufacturing Company and J.C. Penny. She was a memberof First Baptist Church in Brookhaven.

Survivors are her husband, Harold Williams of Brookhaven; herdaughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Larry Ratliff of Brookhaven;her grandsons, Kelly (Christy Knight) Ratliff of Brookhaven, andBrian (Kim) Ratliff of Brandon; her great-grandchildren, Piker,Will, and Sam Ratliff and Lauren Smith; and her special caretaker,Mary Ann Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First BaptistChurch Building Fund or Brookhaven Academy.
