MAGNOLIA – Tiakara Kelly pumped in 23 points Monday, sparkingthe Brookhaven Lady Panthers to a 55-53 comeback win againstWilkinson County. Kelly’s total included 5 treys in the openinground of the South Pike Invitational.

In the boys game, Brookhaven blasted Wilkinson County’s Wildcats65-54, directed by Leo Garrett and Keith Johnson with 16 pointseach. Fred Fairman added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Ole Brook plays North Pike today in the second round, starting withthe girls at 3 p.m. and the boys at 4:30.

The Lady Panthers got 16 points from Christen Benson as theytrailed a 28-21 at halftime.

The Lady Wildcats got a game-high 20 points from BreariannaDay.

The Panthers camped at the free throw line, making 28 of 45 charityshots.

Wilkinson’s Kenyon McDonald led all scorers with 25 points.
