Funeral services for Gene Ilance Lambert, of LaPlace, La., are11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, at New Hope Baptist Church inMonticello, with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Homein Monticello is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, andon Wednesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of theservice.

Mr. Lambert, 71, died Nov. 20, 2010, at Ochsner MedicalCenter.

He was born on Dec. 1, 1938.
