Funeral services for Linsber Brister, of Bogue Chitto, are 11a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Wellman Baptist Church in BogueChitto, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Brister, 80, died Nov. 26, 2010, at the CardiovascularInstitute of Mississippi in McComb. He was born in Lincoln Countyon Aug. 11, 1930, to Elton Brister and Edna WittingtonBrister.
He was a truck driver for Keystone. He was a member of WellmanBaptist Church and the Topisaw Masonic Lodge No. 413.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Imogene NationsBrister; his grandchild, Wade Reeves; and his great-grandchild,Haley Jergins.
Survivors are his son, David (Sack) Brister and wife, Loretta, ofBogue Chitto; his daughters, Joyce Reeves and husband, Steve,Brenda Albritton and husband, Elvin, and Carolyn Jergins andhusband, Billy Ray, all of Bogue Chitto; his brother, StanleyBrister and wife, Alice, of Bogue Chitto; his sisters, FannyLancaster, Geneva Schmidt and Benita Nations, all of Bogue Chitto;11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; onegreat-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
