Funeral services for Lorraine Anders Winborn, of Brookhaven,will be held at a later date. Riverwood Family Funeral Service isin charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Winborn, 93, died Nov. 25, 2010, at Golden Living Center -Brook Manor. She was born in Amite County on Jan. 14, 1917, toJames Gray Anders and Lillian Wilkerson Anders.

She was a former co-owner of a flower shop in Gloster. She alsoworked with the United States government at the Tinker Air ForceBase in Oklahoma, where she had top secret documents clearance.During World War II, she worked at the Keesler Air Force Base inGulfport, and with the U.S. Engineers in Baton Rouge, La., andMontgomery, Ala. She was a member of First United Methodist Churchin Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Earl DeanWinborn; her brothers, John Richard Anders and James Gray AndersJr.; and her sister, Ethel “Sis” Anders Hartman.

Survivors are her nieces, Gretchen Hartman Beall, of Avon, Ind.,Laurie Anders Baker, of New Orleans, La., and Margaret AndersRichardson, of Brandon; and her sister-in-law, Felice Anders, ofMcComb.
