Graveside funeral services for Harold Moak, 75, of Ferriday,La., will be held at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near BogueChitto, on Wednesday Dec. 1, 2010, with Bro Larry Wagonerofficiating. Interment will be under the direction of Young’sFuneral Home in Ferriday.

The family received friends from 11 a.m. until noon on Wednesday atthe funeral home.

Mr. Moak was born on May 5, 1935, in Lincoln County, to Effie andWilliam Lowrey Moak. He passed away on Nov. 30, 2010, in Ferriday.He was retired and the former owner of Moak’s Small EngineRepair.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, SandraBiddle.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Louise Moak; two sons,Lowrey Moak and wife Debra, and Huey Moak and wife Penny; hisgrandchildren, Sylvia Johns and husband Josh, Jessi Jones andhusband Chris, Will Moak, Katie Moak and Julie Moak; and onegreat-grandchild, Eli Jones.

Pallbearers are family and friends.
