Helen M. Simpson Masi, formerly of Brookhaven passed awaypeacefully in Palm Bay, Fla., on Dec. 3, 2010.

She was 83. Born May 16, 1927 in Brookhaven, she was the daughterof Orville Simpson and Donna Covington.

She is predeceased by her parents; her sister Delois Street; andher daughter, Roseann Masi Painter.

She is survived by her brother, William Weathersby of Mississippi;and eight children, Michael Masi of St. Petersburg, Fla., AnthonyMasi and Joseph Masi of Arizona, Genevieve Masi and Karen MasiBreeney of Bridgeport, Conn., Phillip Masi and wife, Joan MasiPalese and husband, Susan Masi Teodoro and husband of Palm Bay. Sheis also survived by a host of grandchildren andgreat-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Interment will be at New Sight Cemetery in Brookhaven, onWednesday, Dec. 29, 2010.
