Funeral services for Anthony Ray Melancon, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel, with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Melancon, 48, died Dec. 19, 2010, at his residence. He was bornin Mississippi on June 10, 1962.

He was employed in sales. He was a member of First Baptist Churchin Brookhaven.

Preceding him in death was his father, Ray Joseph Melancon.

Survivors are his wife, Terri Rounsaville Melancon; his sons, MylesRay Melancon and Grantham Backstrom Melancon; his mother, HoytenseRicks and husband Bill; his brother, Alan Melancon and wifeSamantha; his sister, Lisa Webb and husband Jason; hisparents-in-law, Ted and Carolyn Rounsaville; his brothers- andsisters-in-law, Nikki and Jeff Henning, and Clint and ChristyRounsaville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or acharity of choice.
