Sonja Bourgeois Howell, 72, of Jayess, died Friday, Dec. 24,2010, at Southwest Mississippi Medical Center in McComb.

Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, beginning at 5 p.m.at Divide Methodist Protestant Church in Jayess. Wilson FuneralHome in Monticello is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010,at Divide Methodist Protestant Church in Monticello, with burial inthe church cemetery.

She enjoyed watching football, especially Louisiana StateUniversity and the New Orleans Saints, and game night with friends.She loved spending time with her family and made the bestetouffee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland J. Bourgeois andMilbra Millet Bourgeois; her brother, Brent Bourgeois; one infantson; and one infant grandson.

Survivors include her daughters, Tina Howell Lambert and husbandTracy of Jayess, Shirley Fuller and husband Wilmer of Monticello,Steffni Davis and husband Roger of Monticello, and Tangi Barnettand husband Keith of Monticello; her sons, Ronnie Howell of Jayess,and Ricky Howell and wife Rhonda of Texas; her brothers, R.J.,Keith, Bill Bourgeois of Baton Rouge; her sisters, Carolyn Mathisof Zachary, La., and Kandi Ritchey of Jayess; and her 15grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Travis Fuller, Kevin Ritchey, Mark Ritchey, DustinBarnett, Blake Davis and Austin Davis.
