In observance of the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. onMonday, city offices for Brookhaven, Bude/Meadville, Monticello andWesson, and the county offices of Copiah, Franklin, Lawrence andLincoln will be closed.

Also closing are Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce,U.S. Post Office, and the Mississippi Highway Patrol Driver’sLicense Examiner’s Office, as will all of the area schools in thecounty and city, including Co-Lin, MSA and Brookhaven Academy.Wesson Attendance Center will have Parent-Teacher Day on Tuesday,so students will have that day off, as well.

Waste Management will run its regular routes.
