Funeral services for Lillian Jobie Tarver, of Brookhaven, arenoon on Friday, Jan. 28, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onNatchez Drive, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery. BrookhavenFuneral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Tarver, 86, died Jan. 25, 2011, at University of MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Lincoln County on April8, 1924 to Charles M. Hutcherson and Floria Hutcherson.

She was a telephone operator with Bell South. She was a member ofNew Sight Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, J.C. “Dick”Tarver.

Survivors are her numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
