Robert G. “Bob” Arbelle passed away on Feb. 5, 2011, at the ageof 68 years.

He was the beloved husband of Donna DeBram Arbelle; father ofDavid M. Arbelle (wife, Claudia) and Patricia Arbelle Remson(husband, Drew); grandfather of Sara Arbelle, Christopher Arbelle,Emily Arbelle Remson (fiancé, Alex Delgado) and Lilly Remson; sonof the late Dorothy Migliore Arbelle and Leon Arbelle; brother ofJames Arbelle (wife, Fay), Ursula Medearis (husband, David) andWilliam Arbelle (wife, Vicky).

He was a longtime resident of Marrero, La., and most recently ofBrookhaven.

Bob was a United States. Army veteran and served his countryduring the Vietnam War. He earned the Combat Infantry Badge and wasawarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisiin Brookhaven. He was active in the St. Rosalie and St. John BoscoChurch communities, St. John Bosco C.Y.O. and Men’s Club and was aSalesian Cooperator. He was formerly employed with B.J. Servicesand Halliburton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation atMothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La., onWednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A mass willfollow in the funeral home chapel.
