Lillian Thames Armstrong, 87, of Hazlehurst, passed away Feb. 7,2011, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 10until 11 a.m. on Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Home inHazlehurst.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Stringer FamilyChapel with burial in Sardis Cemetery.

Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years,Billy Brown Armstrong, and a son, Johnny Franklin Armstrong.

She is survived by her daughters, Nellie Noble and husband Wayne ofVicksburg, Jeannie May and husband Robert of Brandon, MargieLassetter and husband Keith of Clinton, and Vickie White andhusband Mike of Wesson; her sons, Benson Armstrong and JackieArmstrong, both of Hazlehurst; and 12 grandchildren and 10great-grandchildren.
