Funeral services for Loleta Faye Morris Varnado, of BogueChitto, are 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service Chapel, with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist ChurchCemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Varnado, 75, died Feb. 8, 2011, at her residence. She was bornin Mississippi on Feb. 1, 1936, to Glenn Dayton Morris and MaryDessie Kathryn O’Neil Morris.

She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Glenn and Mary Morris; herhusband, Francis W. Varnado; her daughter, Melanie A. Varnado; andher sister, Juanita Maye Newman.

Survivors are her sons, Kenneth D. Varnado of Little Hocking, Ohio,and Gary E. Varnado and wife Bonnie of Bogue Chitto; her brother,Monty Morris of Elgin, Okla.; her grandchildren, Ciara Lynn Myersof Nashville Tenn., Kenneth D. Varnado Jr. of Belpre, Ohio, RyanNathaniel Varnado of Dover Del., Cameron Wade Varnado of New Haven,Conn., Jessica Denise Hartley of Waveland, Brendon Allen Varnado ofGloster, and Chelsea Faye Varnado of Bogue Chitto; and her fourgreat-grandchildren.
