Funeral services for Clay Donald Smith, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Big Springs Baptist Church inLincoln County, with burial in the church cemetery. BrookhavenFuneral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, andon Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of theservice.

Mr. Smith, 53, died Feb. 21, 2011, at his residence. He was born inLincoln County on Aug. 6, 1957.

He was a carpenter. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

His father, Donald Ray Smith, preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife, Angela McKee Smith of Brookhaven; hismother, Faye Bowman Smith of Brookhaven; his sons, Brent Smith andwife, Meagan of Petal, and Nicholas Smith and wife, Michelle ofMonticello; his sister, Belinda Moseley of Brandon; and onegrandchild, Carter Smith.
