Glenn Winston Rushing, 63, of Festus, Mo., formerly of Pike andLincoln counties, died Feb. 15, 2011, in St. Louis, Mo.

Visitation will be held at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb at10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, until services at 1 p.m. The Rev.Kenneth Patten will officiate.

Mr. Rushing was born June 7, 1947 in McComb to Catherine BrewerRushing and Marvin Alex Rushing. He attended Enterprise HighSchool. Mr. Rushing was a veteran of the United Stated Army andserved three tours in Vietnam, where he received severalaccommodations for service. He worked as a welder and in the oilfield for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Rushing; onesister, Kathleen Rushing; one half brother, David Rushing; and oneson-in-law, Tommy Austermann.

Survivors include his beloved mother, Catherine Rushing ofSpring Hill, Tenn.; his son, Adam Rushing and wife Kim, of Festus;his four daughters, Melonie Austermann of High Ridge, Mo., LauraSanders and husband, Billy of Hillsboro, Mo., Melissa Kelly ofMcComb, and Stacey Rushing of Bogue Chitto; two sisters, ShirleyJarrell of Summit, and Mable Jean Rushing of Spring Hill; one halfsister, Angie Davis and husband, Dickey of Ruth; and one halfbrother Randall Rushing of Ruth; and numerous grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Adam Rushing, Deiyden Rushing, GeorgeZavadile, Jerry Keeton Jr., James Bales Jr., Brad Bales and ZacharyBales.

Honorary pallbearers are Adam Steven Rushing, Billy Sanders andJason Bales.
