Funeral services for Marjorie Marie Porter Pomerlee, of BogueChitto, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, at Grateful MinistriesInternational in Brookhaven, with burial in Mt. Zion MissionaryBaptist Cemetery in Bogue Chitto. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pomerlee, 43, died Feb. 22, 2011, at her residence. She wasborn in Jackson on Dec. 26, 1967.

She was a 1985 graduate of West Lincoln High School and a graduateof Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She was employed with Wal-MartSupercenter for 16 years. She was a member of Grateful MinistriesInternational.

Preceding her in death were her father, Norris Crossley; hergrandfather, the Rev. Jimmie Porter; and her sister, RuthellaPorter.

Survivors are her husband, Russell Pomerlee, of Bogue Chitto; herdaughters, Wakitta Brendale Porter and Faith Miesha Pomerlee, bothof Bogue Chitto; her stepson, Adrian Davis, of Brandon; her mother,Louise Porter of Bogue Chitto; her grandmother, Mamie Lee Porter,of Bogue Chitto; her sister, Victoria Porter, of Brookhaven; hermother-in-law, Shirley Pomerlee, of Coffeeville; and many aunts,uncles, cousins and other relatives.
