Funeral services for Nancy Carolyn Douglas, of Brookhaven, are11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel, with burial in Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery inBrookhaven.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Douglas, 75, died Feb. 28, 2011, at her daughter’sresidence. She was born in Tennessee on Oct. 1, 1935.

She was a retired librarian. She was a member of First BaptistChurch in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her father, Clyde Meredith; herhusband, Austin Douglas; and her great-grandchild, Joshua FosterJr.

Survivors are her son, Robbie Douglas and wife, Angie of Wesson;her daughters, Meredith Foster and husband, Gary, and Dana Rutlandand husband, Wayne, all of Ruth; her mother, Helen Mae WilsonMeredith; her brothers, Raymond Meredith and wife, Linda of AllenTexas, and Richard Meredith and wife, Ann of Rockwall Texas; hergrandchildren, Robert, Kris, and Robin Douglas, Blane, Joshua,Caleb, Jeremy and Nathan Foster, Cristy Busby, Erika, Nicole andHannah Rutland; and her four great-grandchildren.
