Marjorie Nelson “Margie” White, 57, went to be with the LordJesus Christ on Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Dominic JacksonMemorial Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 5 until 8 p.m.Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Wynndale Baptist Church, 11287 SpringRidge Road, Terry. Funeral Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at thechurch. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park South inJackson. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland is in charge ofarrangements.
Margie was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 24, 1953, to Malcolm ThomasNelson and Helen McGrew Nelson.
She was a graduate of Loyd Star High School in Lincoln County andattended Copiah-Lincoln Junior College in Wesson. She was alongtime resident of the Jackson area. She was an active member ofWynndale Baptist Church and its mission outreach. She will begreatly missed by family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her father; and a son, William GrayWhite.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Richard G. White;daughter, Natalie Brooks Gaughf and husband, Kevin, of Terry; twosons, Troy Nelson White and his wife, LeAnne, of Terry, and JohnStewart White and wife, Kate, of Guntersville, Ala; her mother,Helen Nelson of Caseyville; her sister, Sandra Rich and herhusband, Roger, of Caseyville; and six grandchildren, Madalyn,Brian, William, Langley, Sam and Briton.
