Adie M. Case (Mrs. Memphis Case), a lifelong resident of LincolnCounty, was chosen by Jesus to be an angel and walk in the house ofthe Lord on March 19, 2011.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. on Monday, March 21, at BrookwayBaptist Church in Brookhaven with burial in Macedonia BaptistChurch Cemetery. Bro. Pat Sullivan will officiate. BrookhavenFuneral Home on North Jackson Street is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home andMonday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at thechurch.

Mrs. Case, 85, died March 19, 2011, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Brookhaven onJune 1, 1925, to John Case and Anna Anding Case.

She was a self-employed beautician and a lifelong member ofBrookway Baptist Church in Brookhaven. She was a loving mother,grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Memphis Case; her parents;her sister, Claire Case; and her brothers, Lamar Case, James Case,Vernon Case and Grady Case.

Survivors are her only son, Mitchel Case and wife, Jennifer, ofSummit; her granddaughters, Deanna Mickle and husband, John, ofFlorence, Mollie Dawson and husband, Mitchell, of Summit, andAmanda Dodge and husband, Dayton, of Natchez; hergreat-grandchildren, Lauren Mickle, Vivien Morgan, Bailey Mickleand Memphis Dodge; and many friends and dear relatives.
