Funeral services for Sallie J. Toler, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.on Thursday, March 24, at Harmony Baptist Church in Brookhaven,with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family FuneralService is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 7:30 p.m. at Harmony BaptistChurch. Visitation will also be Thursday from 12:30 to 1 p.m. atthe church.

Mrs. Toler, 86, died March 21, 2011, at Crossgates River OaksHospital in Brandon. She was born May 10, 1924, to Ed and EvieHemphill Johnson.

She was retired. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband andfather of her children, T.J. Foster; her husband, Joe Toler; herdaughter, Barbara Sue Foster; her son, Marion J. Foster; herbrothers, Melton Johnson, Hollis (Dick) Johnson, Lee Edward Johnsonand Jack Johnson; and her sisters, Flois Johnson, Inell Martin, hertwin, Celie Foster and Dorothy (Polly) Price.

Survivors are her son, Jack A. Foster, and wife, Jill; herdaughters, Martha F. Guynes, and husband, Ervin; herdaughter-in-law, Sherry Foster; her brothers Nalty Johnson, andwife Elnora; her sister-in-law, Bettye Johnson; her grandchildren,Jennifer Guynes Pittman, Jason Guynes and Anthony Foster; her greatgrandchildren, April Elwell, Rachel Putnam, Britt Guynes, BellaGuynes and Addy Foster; her great-grandchild, Brianna Elwell; andmany beloved nieces and nephews.
