Funeral services for Algie Fulton Goodson, of Brookhaven, were11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, at New Prospect Baptist Church, withburial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on NatchezDrive was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Goodson, 90, died Sunday, April 3, 2011, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Winston County on Nov. 10, 1920, toD.W. Fulton and Nina Hatcher Fulton.

She was a senior aide at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, ahousemother at Boswell Group Home and a homemaker. She was a memberof New Prospect Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, ConnerFulton.

Survivors are her stepson, Jimmie Goodson and his wife, Shirley, ofUnion Church; her daughter, Nina Granger and her husband, Marlin,of Brookhaven; her stepdaughter, Barbara Freeman of Union Church;her grandchildren, Todd Granger and wife, Sharen, of Brookhaven,and Darlene Stewart and husband, Sam, of Madison; hergreat-grandchildren, Amanda Pearson of Pinegrove, La. and TraceStewart, of Madison; her great-great-grandchild, Lawrence Pearson,of Pinegrove; her brothers, David Fulton, of Orinda, Calif.,Bernard Fulton, of Louisville, Miss., Roy Fulton, of Greenville,Gene Fulton, of Rolling Fork, and James Fulton, of Vidor, Texas;her sister, Alice Jarvis, of Williamsburg, Va.; and manystepgrandchildren.
