Funeral services for Russell Curtis Carpenter, of Wesson, were 1p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, withburial in the Strong Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson.

Mr. Carpenter, 56, died April 3, 2011, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. He was born in Wesson on Dec. 25, 1954, to CharlesCurtis Carpenter and Lottie Jane Thedford Neal.

He was a Foreign Alliance representative for Helmerich and PayneInternational Drilling. He was a member of Strong Hope BaptistChurch and the Christian Motorcycle Association.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Gloria “Goldie” McFall Carpenter; his son,Curt Carpenter; his daughters, Kimberly Carpenter and ChasityCarpenter; his brother, Greg Carpenter; his sister, Lynn Allen; hisgrandchildren, Brayden Palmer, Lauren Palmer, Dylan Fort, BryceCarpenter and Keegen Carpenter.
