Funeral services for Bobby Joe O’Quinn III, of Bude, are 11 a.m.on Saturday, April 9, at Franklin County High School Auditorium inMeadville, with burial in the Burnett Cemetery. Marshall FuneralHome is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at Marshall FuneralHome in Bude. There will also be a special visitation at the schoolSaturday from 9 a.m. until the service.
Mr. O’Quinn, 19, died April 2, 2011, in Franklin County. He wasborn in Brookhaven on Aug. 21, 1991, to Valeria A. Moore O’Quinnand Bobby Joe O’Quinn Sr.
He was a member of the Franklin County High School Football Team,the Power Lifting Club and the Archery Club.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Bobbie SueShaw and Douglas Shaw Sr.; his paternal grandfather, James “TomCat” O’Quinn; two aunts, Ann O’Quinn and Alice Hellom, and herhusband, Joseph Hellom.
Survivors are his loving and devoted mother, Valeria O’Quinn ofBude; his father, Bobby Joe O’Quinn Sr.; his grandmothers, EssieO’Quinn and Bertha Mae Hickenbottom; his sisters, Barica Moore andher companion, Terance Magee; De’Noshia O’Quinn, Brianta O’Quinn,all of Bude; and La’Shonda Martin of Jackson; his brothers, BobbyJoe O’Quinn II and his wife, Samantha, of Webb, Ala., and ZorianO’Quinn of Bude; his aunts, Carolon Coleman and her husband, Leon;Gayle Collins and her husband, George, all of Bude; Kathie JeanO’Quinn, Angela O’Quinn, Tammy Herrington, all of Union Church; andAretha Butler and her husband, Walter, of Wesson; his uncles,Douglas “D.J.” Shaw of Bude, and Clarence O’Quinn, of Union Church;his special friends, Quartez Clark and D.J. Anderson; and manyother relatives and friends.
