Cecil B. Seay, 82, of Liberty, died April 12, 2011, at SouthwestMississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Friday at9 a.m. until the services at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home inLiberty. Bro. Dick Root and Bro. Randy Spring will officiate.Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery.

Mr. Seay was born May 26, 1928, in Yazoo City. He was the son ofHubert S. Seay Sr. and Annie Watson Seay.

He was a retired master sergeant of 22 years with the United StatesAir Force, and served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was anagency manager for Amite County Farm Bureau Insurance for 22 years.He was a member of the Summit Church of Christ, the Liberty Lodge,the Order of the Eastern Star, and a 32 degree Mason, and aShriner. He also was a member of the Liberty Civic Club and theAmerican Legion.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Hubert S.Seay Jr.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Rushing Seay,of Liberty; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael A. Seay,of Jacksonville, Fla., Mike W. and Connie Seay, of McComb, andCurtis and Dee Dee Seay, of Liberty; nine grandchildren and theirspouses, Andrea and Eric Ramirez, and Amber and Charles Cox, all ofJacksonville, Fla., Hollie Seay, of Dexter, Duane and Melony Seay,of Jacksonville, N.C., Kelly and Eric Jacobson and Korbi andMichael McQueary, all of Brandon, Chris and Allie Seay, ofPrentiss, Megan and Rich Newman, of Brandon, and Mindy and BradAlexander, of Grand Junction, Colo.

He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler Breland, SarahBreland, Jana Jacobson, Jordan McQueary, Jason McQueary, NathanSeay, Caden Seay, Abby Seay, Rylee Newman and BaileighAlexander.

Pallbearers for the service will be Aubrey Blalock, Mike Bridwell,Darren McEwen, Brian Moak, Ricky Stratton, and Sam Walsh. Honorarypallbearers will be Donald Byrd, James Moak and Fred Sims.
