Funeral services for Letha Mae Johnston Freeman, of Brookhaven,are 11 a.m., Saturday, April 16, at Charity Baptist Church withburial in Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday at thechurch.

Mrs. Freeman, 89, died on April 14, 2011, at Brookmanor NursingHome. She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 14, 1921, to JackJohnston and Emma Smith Johnston.

She was a retired nurses’ aide. She was a member of Charity BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Lester FrankFreeman; a grandchild, William Lester “Shad” Freeman; threebrothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Archie J. Freeman and wife, Mary, andFerman Dale “Red” Freeman and wife, Bonnie; her twin sister, RethaJohnston Robinson; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; andsix great-great-grandchildren.
