Funeral services for Edna C. McGee, ofBrookhaven, were 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, at BrookhavenFuneral Home Chapel on Jackson Street, with burial in RosehillCemetery.

Mrs. McGee, 94, died April 20, 2011, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. She was born in Bogue Chitto on Dec. 16,1916, to Marion Scott Callender and Annie Olivia SmithCallender.

She was a homemaker and seamstress, where she worked for numerousbusinesses and people. She was a member of Jackson Street UnitedMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Joe S. McGee;her daughter, Linda Rose Allgood; her brothers, Marion CallenderJr., Vercie Callender, Robert Callender and Leroy Callender; hersisters, Lillian Sommerfeld and Beulah Mae Moncrief; and herson-in-law, Jerry T. Case.

Survivors are her daughter, Louvenia Ann Case, of Brookhaven; herson-in-law, Clyde Allgood and wife, Audrey, of Brookhaven; hersisters, Ellen Frascino, of Pearland, Texas, and Rosa Hart Thomasof Baton Rouge, La.; her sisters-in-law, Collene Callender, ofBrookhaven, Nell Callender, of Pass Christian, Texas, and AlleneCallender, of Alabama; her grandchildren, Anthony Allgood and KirkAllgood and wife, Jocelyn, all of Ohio, and Robbie Boyte andhusband, Tommy, and Tabbie Montgomery and husband, Eddie, all ofBrookhaven; her great-grandchildren, Stephanie Price, of Natchez,and Bobby Price, Tiffany and husband, Jason Smith, and Trudy LeRay,all of Brookhaven, and Thomas Boyte, of Jackson; hergreat-great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Chandler and Nevaeh Price,Daria and Dawson Smith, and Seth, Clay and Caleb LeRay, all ofBrookhaven; and many nieces and nephews.
