Graveside services for Janey Tucker Hess, of Brookhaven, are10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 2, at Memphis Memorial Garden.

Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Hess, 76, died April 26, 2011, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Tupelo on March 22, 1935, to Thomas TaylorTucker and Ruby Jane Burks Tucker.

She was a graduate of Purdue University and an interior designer.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Paul E. Hess;and her brother, Tommy Tucker.

Survivors are her sons, Mark Hess and Paul Taylor Hess; herdaughters, Cheri Walker and Lydia Hess McClaran; her sister, JoAnneTurnage; her grandchildren, Michael Louis Walker, Tucker AnneMcClaran and Aubrey Jane McClaran; and a dear friend and bridgepartner, Lester Peters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to BrookhavenAnimal Rescue League, P.O. Box 477, Brookhaven, MS 39603.
