Graveside services for Brenda Faye George, of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. on Monday, May 16, at Riverwood Memorial Park. RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. George, 66, died May 13, 2011, at Bedford Care Center inHattiesburg. She was born in Magnolia on March 19, 1945, to John W.Hollingsworth and Geneva I. Channell.

She was the former owner of Dixie Lumber Company, a 1963 graduateof Magnolia High School and a graduate of Auburn University with adegree in elementary education. She was a member of FaithPresbyterian Church in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, WinsonGeorge Jr.

Survivors are her son, Michael George, of Brookhaven; her daughter,Michelle George Deare, of Hattiesburg; her brothers, JerryHollingsworth, of Tupelo, and Mark Hollingsworth, of McComb; hersister, Corinne Gillentine, of Hattiesburg; and fivegrandchildren.
