Services for Jacqueline Marie “Jackie” Thornhill, of Brookhaven,were 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel onNatchez Drive with burial in Mallalieu Methodist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation was Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Thornhill, 84, died June 5, 2011, at her residence. She wasborn in Brookhaven on March 12, 1927, to Jake Albritton and MaggieElizabeth Rollins Albritton.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star. She was amember of Mallalieu United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, R.J.Thornhill.

Survivors include her son, Curtis Thornhill, of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Sue Powers, of Braxton, and Lori Byrne, of Brookhaven;her grandchildren, Joshua Byrne, Chad Byrne, Ashley Kendall andMatt Powers; her great-grandchildren, Zaydn Kendall and MadisonByrne.
