Graveside services for Jones Hoskins, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m.on Saturday, June 18, at Hoskins Cemetery in Brookhaven. BrookhavenFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hoskins, 76, died June 15, 2011, in Brookhaven. He was born inJackson on July 12, 1934, to Jones Hamilton Hoskins Sr. and RuthHoskins.

He was a 1953 graduate of Central High School and also a graduateof Mississippi College and Ole Miss Law School. He practiced law inCleveland, Jackson, Laurel in 1971 with Masonite Corporation andthen in Brookhaven. He was a retired member of the Mississippi BarAssociation and the Lincoln County Bar Association, where he hadserved as past president. He was a member of First United MethodistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife, Shirley FayeBaynes Hoskins.

Survivors are his stepsons, Billy Mark Britt and wife, Kimberly FoxBritt, and John Tad Britt and wife, Mary Susan Britt; hisgrandchildren, Hannah Fox Britt, Matthew Baynes Britt and SarahGrace Britt; his cousins, Shirley Conner Barrett, Donald Cain andwife, Carol, and Linda Lowe and husband, Ron; and his caregiver,Keith Reeves.
