Memorial services for Leroy Jenning Henderson, of Brookhaven,are 1 p.m. on Monday, June 20, at Willie Mae Tyler Memorial Chapel.R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Henderson, 69, died June 14, 2011, at his residence. He wasborn in Brookhaven on Feb. 16, 1942, to Grover Henderson andPearlie Adams Henderson.

He worked for Roadway Truck Company until his retirement.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Lynn Henderson;his sisters, Rosie Davis, Beatrice Byrd and Annie Mae Smith; hisbrothers, John Henry Henderson and John Willie Dukes; and hisstepdaughter, Jean.

Survivors are his daughters, Patricia Henderson-Enigobokan, BrendaLawrence and Marilyn Penn, all of Los Angeles, Calif.; hisbrothers, Grover Henderson, of Nebraska, and Walter Henderson(Sandra), of Los Angeles; his sisters, Pearline Ross (Earnest), ofDetroit, Mich., and Sara Harvey, of Los Angeles; his aunt, LouisaBrown, of Sacramento, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
