Funeral services for Robert Earl Flowers, of McCall Creek, are 2p.m. on Monday, June 20, at Concord Baptist Church in McCall Creek.Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Flowers, 79, died June 18, 2011, at Liberty Community LivingCenter. He was born in Smithdale on March 24, 1932, to Robert C.Flowers and Myrtis Nettles Flowers.

He was a graduate of Istrouma High School and Louisiana StateUniversity. He was retired from the Louisiana Department of Laboras training director in human resources. He was a member of ConcordBaptist Church and a United States Air Force veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sisters, RuthFlowers Farris and Helen Flowers Uphoff.

Survivors are his wife, Patsy Louise Flowers; his son, Robert E.Flowers II and wife, Ivanna Lewis Flowers; his daughters, ChristyFlowers House and husband, Robert F. House, and Cindy FlowersKershaw and Keith D. Kershaw; and six grandchildren.
