Funeral services for Theodore Joseph Bein,of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, at FaithPresbyterian Church in Brookhaven with burial in Riverwood MemorialPark Cemetery in Brookhaven. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

    Visitation is Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church.

    Mr. Bein, 84, died June 28, 2011, at his residence. He was born onMay 19, 1927.

    He was a member of the National Guard for 40 years. He was a memberof Faith Presbyterian Church. He was raised in New Orleans beforeproudly serving in the U.S. Army in World War II. Ted lovedcoaching his boys in little league baseball and playing tennis withhis friends. Ted enjoyed playing cards with his “Math Club” andtraveling with his wife, Faye.

    Preceding him in death were his parents, Philip Ray and Elsie MarksBein.

    Survivors are his loving wife of 65 years, Faye Bein; his sons,Larry Bein and wife, Judy, Phil Bein and wife, Ashley, Kent Beinand wife, Dianne; his grandchildren, Hollie, Christy Anne, Christy,Jackson, Lindsey and Philip; and his great grandchildren, Dalton,Mallory, Morgan, Adrian, Evan and Weston.
