Funeral services will be held Thursday,July 7, 2011, at 2 p.m. for Betty Jones, 70, of Hattiesburg andformerly of Prentiss, who passed away July 4, 2011, at ForrestGeneral Hospital in Hattiesburg.

    Interment will follow in Dublin Cemetery.

    Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:30 p.m. at Saulters-MooreFuneral Home in Prentiss.

    Betty Lou Jones was born Jan. 1, 1941, in Brookhaven. She was thedaughter of Brock Evans and Ada Case Evans. She was a homemaker anda member of Dublin Baptist Church.

    Mrs. Jones is survived by one daughter, Misty Jones Barrett ofPurvis; three sons, Will Jones, of Brandon, and Perry Jones andStan Jones, both of Prentiss; two sisters, Sharon Calhoun and NancySutton, both of Brookhaven; one brother, David Evans, ofBrookhaven; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, MarcelleJones.
