Larry James Huckaby, 52, of Brookhaven,died Friday, July 8, 2011, at the University of Mississippi MedicalCenter in Jackson.      Funeral services wereat 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at the Red Star Ward of TheChurch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Brookhaven withburial in the church cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday, July11, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home on NatchezDrive.

    Mr. Huckaby was born in Dallas, Texas, on Sept. 26, 1958, to GradyCleo Huckaby and Bernadine Golf Huckaby.

    Larry was a salesman with Verizon Wireless in McComb and had workedin the automobile business for numerous years. He was a member ofthe Brookhaven Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter DaySaints.

    He is preceded in death by his parents, Grady Cleo Huckaby andBernadine Golf Huckaby; and a sister, Linda Calcote.

    Survivors are his wife, Susan Bills Huckaby, of Brookhaven; hissons, Mitch Huckaby and wife, Jennifer, of Hattiesburg, and BriceHuckaby and Daniel Huckaby, all of Brookhaven; his daughter, MandyBoyte and husband, Drew, of Brookhaven; his brothers, GarryHuckaby, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Shelby Wiley of Grandview,Texas; and his grandchildren, Parker and Davis Boyte and EloiseHuckaby.
