Billy Ray Stegall died July 10, 2011, atHardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, William and StacyStegall.

    He is survived by a sister, Jackie Avery, of Jackson; threedaughters, Julie Campbell, of Meadville, and Keri Leggett and KimBurns, both of Brookhaven; and six grandchildren.

    Mr. Stegall was a veteran of the United States Army and a member ofseveral fraternal organizations. Having a great interest in horses,he was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He wasretired from the trucking business and was an avid Ole Missfootball fan.

    A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. atSmyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.
