Funeral services for Wayne G. Cole, ofBrookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, at Central BaptistChurch in Brookhaven with burial to follow at 4:30 p.m. in PleasantHill Baptist Church Cemetery in Columbus. Riverwood Family FuneralService is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home andSaturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service thechurch.

    Mr. Cole, 71, died July 14, 2011, at Regency Hospital in Jackson.He was born in Arkansas on June 2, 1940, to John William Cole andRosamond Cole.

    He was a farm supply manager. He was a member and deacon of hisbeloved Central Baptist Church.

    Preceding him in death were his parents.

    Survivors are his wife, Joyce Cole; his son, Michael Wayne Cole andwife, Bobbie; his daughter, Nancy Cole Aycock and husband, Tim; hisbrothers, J.W. Cole Jr. and wife, Rachel, Jim Cole and wife, Rita,and Ben Cole and wife, Pat; his sister, Rose Mary Shelton andhusband, Jan; his grandchildren, Ashley Aycock, Brandon Aycock,Michael Cole and wife, Merry, and Jon Cole; and numerous nieces,nephews and other family members.

    Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund.
