Funeral services for Kenneth L. Bowman, ofWesson, are 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service Chapel in Brookhaven with burial in DamascusBaptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County. Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

    Mr. Bowman, 70, died July 18, 2011. He was born on August 3, 1941,to Charlie and Ollie Wilson Bowman.

    He was a graduate of Franklin County High School and he worked formany years for Weathersby Carpet in Brookhaven. He was a member ofDamascus Baptist Church.

    Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, CleonBowman, and Alonzo Bowman; and his sister, Ruby Prather.

    Survivors are his sons, Kenny Bowman and wife, Jenny; hisdaughters, Angie Douglas and husband, Robbie, Pam Bowman and TammyBeeson and husband, Eric; his brothers Conley Bowman and wife,Hazel, and Charles Edward Bowman; his sisters, Mildred Lea, NellMartin and husband, Billy, and Aleen Golomon; his cousin, the Rev.Allen Jenkins; his grandchildren, Robert Douglas, Kris Douglas,Robin Douglas, Taylor Beeson and Kadyn Bowman; and hisgreat-grandchildren, Tye, Drake and Paxton Douglas.
