Ruby Louise McRaney Barham, 38, of Sontag,died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at her sister’s residence in Arm.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, atShiloh Baptist Church in Sontag. Burial will be in the churchcemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello is in charge ofarrangements.

    Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 5 until 9 p.m.at the church.

    She loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening especiallyflowers, horses and being a grandmother. To remember her is tothink of her helping other people, as well as taking care of heranimals and garden.

    She was preceded in death by her stepson, Dylan Lee Barham.

    Her survivors include her parents, Shelton and Linda ReynoldsMcRaney, of Sontag; her husband, David Lyle Barham, of Sontag; herson, Kenneth Gauge and Charity Herring, of Monticello; herdaughter, Reagan Louise Herring, of Sontag; her granddaughter,Alexis Claire Carr, of Sontag; her stepson, Derek Van Barham, ofChicago, Ill.; her brothers, Raymond Reynolds, of Jayess; TobyReynolds, of Silver Creek; her sisters, Beverly Bridges, of Sontag,Melinda Jackson, of Arm, Robbie Little, of Brookhaven, and DarleneWelch, of Prentiss.
