Funeral services for Norva Lee Kyzar Reevesare 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Churchwith burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5until 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive.

    Mrs. Reeves, 80, was living in her son’s home in Ruth when she wentto be with the Lord on Aug. 18, 2011. She was born in LincolnCounty on May 9, 1931, to Jesse Francis Kyzar and Lucy LawrenceKyzar. She was one of 10 children.

    Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill BaptistChurch. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening andspending time with her family.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, KennethReeves; three brothers, Bertran Kyzar, Calvin Kyzar and LawrenceKyzar; four sisters, Orell Haralson, Bertile Kimble, Jesteen Boydand Geraldine Young.

    Mrs. Reeves is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny andLinda Reeves, of Ruth; her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and CindyReeves, of Batesville; her son, David Reeves, of Bogue Chitto; herson, Ray Reeves, of Hattiesburg; her daughter and son-in-law,Dorothy and Dave Bush, of Conroe, Texas; her brother and wife,James Elton and Mary Kyzar, of Wesson; her sister, Verla Smith, ofBrookhaven; her brothers-in-law, Ford Young, of Summit, and DonnieHaralson, of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Michael Reeves, MatthewReeves, Eric Reeves, Julie Hunt, Kari Bush, Jon Bush and DanielReeves; her great-grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson, Henry Reeves, CalebReeves, April Reeves and Addison Hunt; many nieces, nephews andother family and friends.

    Pallbearers are Michael Reeves, Matthew Reeves, Eric Reeves, DanielReeves, James Young, Robert Hodges, Teddy Boyd and Mike Smith.
