Glen Wayne Workman, 63, of Bogue Chitto,passed from this life on Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at Simpson GeneralHospital in Mendenhall.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011,at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Burial will be inthe church cemetery.

    Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Sunday at ColonialChapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall and also at Poplar SpringsBaptist Church from 10 a.m. until service time Monday.

    Survivors include his wife, Kathy Padgett Workman, of Bogue Chitto;his mother, Gertha Higgins Abernathy, of Mendenhall; his children,Chad Workman, of Denver, Colo., Sean Workman and wife, Lisa, ofSumrall, and Ryan Workman, of Puckett; his grandchildren, Laurenand Hailey Workman; his brothers, Gary Workman and David Workman;and his sister, Diane Stevens.

    He was preceded in death by his father; Luster Workman; and hisbrother, John “Buddy” Workman.

    Pallbearers are Bradley Stevens, Greg Stevens, Devy Stevens, JohnWorkman, Matt Workman, Jason Workman, Josh Workman, Steven Workman,Chance Padgett, Shey Winstead, Stephen Rouse and John Morgan.

    Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge ofarrangements.
