Cheri Dawn Hayes, 52, a resident ofBrookhaven, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. She was born April 20, 1959, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., toRonald Weisbecker and Geraldine Crawley O’Brien.

    She worked for Delphi Automotive Systems and was a member of AdamsUnited Methodist Church at Auburn.

    She is survived by her husband, Mark Hayes, of Brookhaven; a son,Tyler Hayes, of Brookhaven; her mother and stepfather, GeraldineCrawley O’Brien and Jim O’Brien, of Mt. Vernon; and her father,Ronald Weisbecker, of Mt. Vernon.

    Funeral services will be held at Adams United Methodist Church onThursday, Sept. 15, at 3 p.m. with burial to follow in the churchcemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday beginning at1:30 p.m. until the service time at 3 p.m.

    The Rev. Greg Pittman will officiate.

    Pallbearers are Kenny Smith, David Smith, Wayne Nunnery, CodyNunnery, Cory Nunnery, Jake Laird and Kevin Tate.

    Brookhaven funeral home on Natchez Drive is in charge ofarrangements.
