The final rounds in the 2011 elections area little more than a month away and once again The DAILY LEADERwill be putting special attention on certain contests.

    We are planning a series of questions and answers with candidatesin the races for District 92 representative, District 39 senator,tax assessor/collector, circuit clerk and chancery clerk. We are inthe process of preparing questions for the candidates and readerscan help in the process.

    Questions should be neutral and nonpartisan and should refrain fromany personal issues related to the candidates. Questions fromreaders may be e-mailed to mcoleman@dailyleader.com.

    We will be sending the questionnaires out in the near future.Readers can look forward to seeing the candidates’ responses, alongwith our other election coverage, in the days and weeks leading upto Election Day on Nov. 8.
