Dorothy Fay Newman Martin, 77, passed awaySaturday at Pine Crest Quest Home in Hazlehurst.

    Visitation is 1 until 5 p.m. Sunday at Stringer Family Funeral Homein Hazlehurst. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at StringerFamily Chapel with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery.

    Mrs. Martin was a member of Wesson Baptist Church, the AmericanLegion and the 50+ Club where she was the treasurer. She was also amember of the Truck Stop Domino’s Club.

    Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Warren EugeneMartin.

    She is survived by her sons, Ricky E. Martin, of Los Cruses, N.M.,John Michael Martin, of Florence, James Marvin Martin and StanleyRay Martin, both of Wesson; her daughter, Cathy Fay Miller, ofWesson; her brother, Johnny W. Newman, of Brandon; herhalf-brothers, Bobby Newman, Dickey Newman, Jerry Newman, JeffNewman and Greg Waters; her half-sisters, Betty Sue Newman andCindy Newman; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
